This morning the city greeted me with this rainbow which seemed
solidly planted inbetween the buildings.
Then later, sitting in my cafe a heavy rain fell.

blue winter sky in são paulo biking on the minhocão, a sort of intercity passageway which cuts the norhtern part of the city. Closed on sundays, it serves as a park for the people.

When I was....

...twenty one, before I had to do military service I traveled through the sahara alone with my motorbike. I am still proud of me that i did that since it took a lot of courage to leave home alone. I learned to trust my own opinion, you could even
call it instincts. Before I left I went to my parents house, where a friend of them told me: "You will be killed, most certainly! My son, let me tell you: last year a good friend of mine ended up being raped in prison on a trip like that. Dont go!"
I became insecure and asked? " where did that happen?" hoping to
adjust my route acordingly. He said: " In bolivia, or somewhere around
there.
Thats why i am so stubborn.

I went to see the documentary movie about Cildo Meireles, a brazilian contextual artist.

I loved the stuff he does.
Also, I think the iPhone makes great photos with it's lousy camera.

a designer

a designer I work with played around with the cows that where displayed in Zurich 12 years ago. I liked his version, to be seen in São Paulo. It grins nicely.

The lot is marked as 1995. Probably bought still in zurich to lubricate some army stuff. It was standing in all my houses and there is still some left. It is a childhood memory to use it. Its smell reminds me of kilchberg, wet dogs on a hunting day in the alsace with my father. Today i used it to lubricate our frontgate.
